Some of the training that our Outreach workers offer include:
Educational workshops on the topics of domestic violence, sexual assault, healthy relationships, self-harm, and self-esteem geared to appropriate age levels depending on the group (IE/ Schools, adolescents, adults).

Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid – Basic – is a two-day training intended for adults interacting with adults (18 years and older). This course focuses on the four most common mental health disorders including substance related, mood related, anxiety and trauma related, and psychotic disorders. Participants who take this course are well prepared to interact confidently about mental health with their family, friends, communities, and workplaces.

First Responder to Sexual Assault
First Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training is a comprehensive two-day training, inclusive of the full continuum of sexual violence across the lifespan. It is designed to educate individuals about the social, cultural, and legal aspects of sexual assault and abuse, which will enable them to recognize, define and respond appropriately to the continuum of behaviors that constitute sexual assault and abuse.

safeTalk
LivingWorks safeTALK is a three-hour workshop that prepares anyone 15 or older, in-depth skills to recognize signs of suicide, engage someone, and ensure a connection to safety.

Red Cross: Healthy Youth Relationships
Red Cross Healthy Youth Relationships (HYR) is an educational program for students in middle and high school grades that will help gain the knowledge and skills to develop healthy relationships and prevent dating violence. While the HYR program lessons can be delivered by teachers or by certified Prevention Educators alone, involving youth as facilitators can increase youth participation and learning. Youth who are trained as facilitators of program are equipped to lead experiential learning activities that develop self-awareness and skills in decision making, communication, and conflict management.
We offer a 2-day Youth Facilitator workshop to selected youth. These certified Youth Facilitators offer 3-hour workshops to peers in their own schools and communities.

Red Cross: Beyond the Hurt
Red Cross Beyond the Hurt (BTH) offers effective education, customized support, and a self-sustaining delivery model. Through BTH’s activities, videos and discussions, youth and adults will learn:
- The dynamics and effects of bullying, harassment, and discrimination
- How youth can use their personal power to resolve and prevent these problems.
- How to find and use resources to respond to bullying and harassment, including cyberbullying.
- We offer a 2-day Youth Facilitator workshop to selected youth. These certified Youth Facilitators offer 3-hour workshops to peers in their own schools and communities.

Edu-Therapy Grief Workshop
Edu-Therapy Solutions provides a unique program which encompasses the principles and techniques of a Cognitive Behavioral Process to Grief Resolution. The program is both insightful and personally meaningful as the process naturally connects the mind, body, and spirit and is taught in concise steps that are easily repeatable. The program is the most effective method in assisting those who work with broken hearts, relationship issues, or survivors of abuse and trauma.
