December 6: National Day Of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women (Event)
On December 6, we remember those who lost their lives at the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre (aka Montreal Massacre) on December 6, 1989, and we take action by spreading awareness on Violence Against Women.
On December 6, 2023, Piwapan Wellness Centre held an event to remember and honor those we lost to the Ecole Polytechnique Massacre. We started off by having a warm meal, and held a candle light vigil for those we lost.
