Today, we are filled with a mix of deep gratitude and bittersweet emotion as we announce the retirement of our incredible Sandra Clinton, who has dedicated the last 18 years to our mission and community.
As our Finance Manager, Sandra has been the steady, quiet force behind the scenes. While much of the vital work at a women’s shelter happens on the front lines, Sandra ensured we had the solid foundation required to keep our doors open, our programs funded, and our shelter safe and operational. Balancing budgets, managing complex grants, and navigating the financial realities of non-profit work is no small feat—doing it with unwavering integrity and heart for nearly two decades is nothing short of extraordinary.
Beyond the spreadsheets and management meetings, Sandra brought an abundance of kindness, stability, and compassion to our team every single day. Their work directly empowered countless women and children on their journeys toward safety and healing.
“An organization’s heart is reflected in how it sustains its mission. For 18 years, Sandra made sure we could keep our promises to the community.”
To Sandra: Thank you for your brilliant mind, your steady leadership, and your 18 years of profound service. You leave behind a legacy that will felt here for many years to come. We will miss you immensely, but we wish you nothing but joy, relaxation, and wonderful new adventures in your well-deserved retirement!
Please join us in thanking Sandra and wishing them the absolute best in the comments below! 🥂✨
